The prestigious event, featuring international participation, will outline 20 years of collaboration among the individual components of the Integrated Rescue System in Slovakia and will also offer perspectives from abroad.
The aim of the conference is to bring together all organisations within the Integrated Rescue System on a single educational platform to exchange current information regarding the system and the specifics of their activities. We wish to provide an opportunity to compare the provision of pre-hospital care, assess common quality indicators, explore innovations and development potential, and benchmark the quality outcomes of the services provided.
Mutual familiarisation with the activities of the individual operations centres of the Integrated Rescue System, along with the opportunities for their cooperation in coordinating and managing their components during events that pose a threat to the health and lives of citizens, as well as the establishment of common procedures in operational management, will ultimately enhance the quality of service provision in emergency health care in practice.
1. Changes in Emergency Health Care and Foreign Perspectives
During the first two blocks, we invite foreign speakers to provide conference participants with insights into how various pre-hospital and emergency medical care systems operate abroad. Participants will have the opportunity to compare experiences from abroad with the proposed changes currently being considered in the Slovak Republic.
2. Present and Future of Operations Management of Emergency Medical Services
Domestic contributors will fill the following two blocks. In their presentations, they will evaluate two decades of cooperation and share their visions and potential avenues for further refinements.
3. New technologies in Emergency Medical Services and cooperation with the Integrated Rescue System
The third thematic unit will focus on innovations in the management and coordination systems of Emergency Medical Services within the technological realm. Attention will also be directed towards the managing entities of the Integrated Rescue System that actively participate in the management and coordination of providing emergency medical care during the pre-hospital phase.
4. Various subjects and case reports
In the last block, we will address interesting case reports and specific events. Despite the challenges, all members of the Integrated Rescue System successfully managed complex incidents that required unique solutions.
